Pautzke's salmon eggs worked so well when I fished up in the Pacific NW that I scrounged some up after I moved back to Middle America. Nothing here seemed to want to sample them, which I thought was really strange. I took a jar with me on every backpacking trip in Washington, one of the most convenient ways I've ever fished. Very seldom would I find a lake where the trout ignored them. That was usually grasshopper season when they were interested in other things.
Pautzke's works wonder and I always carry a fresh bottle when I go fishing anywhere. No pautzke's in the midwest? do they even have troutthere? thanks for reading and commenting--Jim Forbes
