You mentioned William K. Sele in your article written in 2007. I believe were talking about the same man. He and his wife, Charlotte lived in Hesperia in the 1960s. He was a retired land surveyor. I became a Civil Engineer/Land Surveyor because of him. My father's family was related to him through his first wife Violet. I remember their house in Hesperia having a Joshua Tree growing through the roof. I tried finding the house one time but with no success. He always talked about "mother nature".
